Our Garden

This is not quite a before picture of our garden.  Originally there were so many filler rocks that we had no idea there was concrete underneath.  It took many wheelbarrow fulls of rocks to get it all uncovered.

We also found some old sprinklers.

Joey and Luke adjusted and fixed all of the sprinkler lines.

Luke grew seedlings.

Saint George, Utah Tour

Our drive to Saint George, Utah is beautiful.

We took a tour of the Saint George Tabernacle (1876).

An all seeing eye!

We played around at Green Gate Village.

When the Saint George, LDS Temple was almost complete in 1893, white paint was ordered for the outside walls and green paint for the roof.  The order got mixed up and since it wouldn’t be worth it to return the green paint (transportation issues) they ordered more white paint and offered free green paint to all in the city who would fix up their gates and fences.  Hence, Green Gate Village.  Here is the story in more detail.
